Beppu City - Oita Prefecture, March 15th 2019

This degree is achieved because of years of sleepless nights.

I have finally graduated from this campus after dedicating myself physically and emotionally.
I almost forgot how my academic experience passed by, as I spent more time at my working place.

1st year was the most exciting. I had no part-time jobs whatsoever, mainly focus on myself and friends. My eating habit was still healthy as my days started with granola and ended with fruits.

2nd year went by with a year working as a 4pm-00am camera assembler at Canon Factory. I always reached home at 2 am and dealing with assignments after. Only God knows how could I manage to balance my school and work life. Pushing my limits so that I could stand alone and financially stable. It was the worst.

3rd year was the time when I had to walk 2kms back and forth every day to work at a convenience store. It has its own funny story where I began as a no-speak-japanese-person to a legit conversationally confident (but grammarly questionable of course)! It was the time when I had the comfort of working and studying at the same time. And I'm still missing the days when I stacked on all the Japanese cigarettes to its place, greeting all the customers that I know, brew and serving coffees for morning customers that are waiting for pachinko, and even choosing what onigiri should I buy after work. I was always so excited to see what's new in the store, as this store has always these weird monthly promotional campaigns and products. I miss my bosses as well.. I wanna meet them and say thank you for all the kindness. For the chance given to this poor student who had no Japanese abilities but still dares to hire and trained me.

4th year, the thesis year. I weirdly managed to finish my thesis and school in 3,5 years in total. However, as my scholarship works for 8 semesters in total, I had to wait for another 6 months to meet my graduation day. So my last semester spent with endless part-time jobs! I was working as a chef assistant of the bridal kitchen at the famous hotel in Beppu, Suginoi Hotel. The best job so far as I was given the opportunity to wear chef's attire.

It has been 2 years. And if I had a chance to jump back and start all over again, I will definitely do.
